Features:

Bright aperture
This is a mid telephoto lens with the bright aperture of F2.4 despite its compact size. A maximum f/2.4 aperture suits working in a variety of lighting conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field.

Glass molded aspheric lens
It uses a glass molded aspheric lens at the 7th element to prevent field curvature, and places an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass lens at the 6th element to contain chromatic aberration.

1:2 Magnification
At the minimum working distance of 26.7cm, the lens delivers the maximum magnification of 0.5x for macro photography. Ideal for macro shooting, this lens offers half of life-size 1:2 maximum magnification along with a minimum focusing distance of 10.5" (26.7cm) to suit working with close-up subjects.

Limits distortion and spherical aberration
One aspherical element limits distortion and spherical aberration in order to realize greater sharpness and accurate rendering.
