1. Hardware Button Shortcut (Works on All Z Flip Models)

This physical button combination works on every Samsung Galaxy Z Flip model, whether unfolded or folded shut:

1. Navigate to the screen or app you want to capture.
2. Quickly press the Side Key (Power button) and the Volume Down button at the exact same time.
3. Release both buttons immediately. The screen will flash, and a preview toolbar will pop up at the bottom.

Note: Do not hold the buttons down for more than a second, or your phone will open the Power Off menu instead.

2. Take a Screenshot on the Outer Cover Screen (FlexWindow)

You can capture what is displayed on the outer cover screen without unfolding your phone:

1. Wake up the Cover Screen by tapping the display or pressing the Side Key.
2. Navigate to the widget, notification, or app you want to capture.
3. Press the Side Key and Volume Down button simultaneously.

1. Enable the feature: Go to Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures and turn on Palm swipe to capture.
2. Place the edge of your hand vertically along the side of the unfolded display.
3. Swipe the edge of your hand horizontally across the screen in one smooth motion.

4. Take a Screenshot in Flex Mode

When your Z Flip is partially folded and resting upright on a desk or flat surface:

1. Enable Flex Mode: Go to Settings > Advanced features > Labs > Flex mode panel and toggle it on for your preferred apps.
2. Fold your phone halfway to a 90-degree angle.
3. Tap the Flex Mode icon on the bottom panel of the lower display.
4. Tap the Screenshot icon to snap a clear capture of the top display.

1. Go to Settings > Display > Edge panels and switch it on.
