1. How to Access the Screen Recorder Tool

On most Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI, the Screen Recorder is located inside the Quick Settings panel:

1. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen to fully expand the Quick Settings panel.
2. Swipe left to locate the Screen Recorder icon.
3. If the icon is missing:
   • Tap the Pencil icon (or three-dot menu in the top right) and select Edit buttons.
   • Find Screen Recorder in the available buttons list at the top, drag it down into your active Quick Settings panel, and tap Done.

2. Step-by-Step: Recording Your Screen

1. Navigate to the app, webpage, or gameplay screen you wish to record.
2. Swipe down to open Quick Settings and tap Screen Recorder.
3. Select your preferred audio source:
   • No Sound: Records quiet video without any internal or external audio.
   • Media Sounds: Captures internal phone audio directly (game sound, music, or app audio) while blocking background room noise.
   • Media Sounds and Mic: Captures internal device audio plus your voice via the microphone—ideal for commentary, reaction videos, or tutorials.
4. Toggle Show taps and touches on if you want a visible visual indicator to highlight where your finger touches the screen during the video.
5. Tap Start recording. A 3-second countdown will play before recording begins.

3. Using Advanced Recording Tools (Selfie Overlay & Drawing)

Once recording starts, a floating control bar will appear in the top-right corner of your display (this bar is hidden from the final recorded video):

• Pencil Icon: Enables on-screen drawing or writing using your finger or S Pen. Perfect for highlighting specific buttons or text during a tutorial.
• Person Icon (Selfie Overlay): Turns on your front-facing camera, placing a circular picture-in-picture video bubble of your face in the corner of the screen.
