The Dynamat Xtreme Mega Pak is the perfect solution for any large job that requires complete coverage on rear decks, doors, floors, and trunks. This industrial-sized Mega Pak includes nine 24" x 48" flat sheets of Dynamat Xtreme, providing a total coverage of 72 sq. ft. (6.69 m sq.).

Dynamat Xtreme is a patented, lightweight elastomeric butyl and aluminium constrained-layer vibration damper. It is designed to reduce road noise, improve sound quality, and create a solid, quiet luxury-car feel. The black butyl-based core with a 4 mil aluminium constrain layer and craft paper release liner ensures durability and easy installation.

With a thickness of 1.72mm, Dynamat Xtreme is optimized for temperature ranges between 14°F and 140°F (-10°C to +60°C). It can withstand temperature extremes between -65°F and +300°F (-54°C to +149°C) and is highly resistant to aging.

Applications for Dynamat Xtreme are vast and include automobiles, railroad cars, buses, ships, ventilation ducts, relay cabinets, steel furniture, home appliances, computer equipment, and more. It can be easily die-cut to shape and placed directly on painted panels or applied before painting.

Installation:

To install Dynamat Xtreme, start by cutting it to the desired size and shape using scissors, a knife, or a die. Make sure to remove any dust, grease, moisture, or foreign matter from the application surface. Peel off the release liner and attach the mat along its shortest edge, pressing firmly into place. For larger pieces, use a Dynamat roller to ensure a secure fit without air pockets. Finally, cover all seams and wiring with DynaTape for a professional finish. Heating the material is not necessary, but the temperature of the mat and application surface should not be below room temperature during fitting.
