Complete remote control: Part# MRC33
A new remote control is required to operate your security system. In order for the remote control to work, it needs to be memorized into the system through a process called 'code learning'. The coding instructions can be found in your owner's manual, which is available for download on our website if you have misplaced yours.
REMOTE CONTROL CODE LEARNING
- Disarm the system using either the remote control or the override method described on the previous page.
- Turn the ignition off and on three times, leaving it on the third time. The siren will chirp.
- Press and hold the override switch for 5 seconds. The siren will chirp three times to confirm that the system is in learning mode.
- Press button 1 twice on the first remote control. The siren will chirp to confirm.
- Press button 1 twice on the second remote control. The siren will chirp to confirm.
- If you have a third remote control, repeat the previous step. Turn the ignition off to complete the learning sequence.
Note: If you happen to lose a remote control, re-learning the existing remote control will erase the lost one from the system.
