Product Description:
The Complete remote MRC8 is a replacement remote for your security system. It needs to be memorized into your system through a process called 'code learning'. The coding instructions can be found in your owner's manual or can be downloaded from our website if you have misplaced yours. The remote operates at a frequency of 433.8MHz.
To learn new remotes to M8 & M824 models, follow these steps:
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position
- Press and release the valet/programming switch 3 times (Siren Chirps)
- Press the Lock Button of each transmitter you want programmed until you hear a chirp from the siren.
- Press and release the valet/programming switch 1 time to advance to channel 2 UNLOCK. Press the unlock button of each transmitter you want to unlock the vehicle.
- Press and release the valet/programming switch 1 time to advance to channel 3 BOOT. Press the boot button of each transmitter you want to operate the boot release of the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position
Make sure to replace the plastic case with Part# 24208 for a complete and functional remote.
