When you connect your 4G VT904 GPS tracker and SP904 Security Pack, you gain the ability to immobilize your vehicle's starter motor and receive an SMS text message alert when the siren of your vehicle security system is triggered. If you don't have a security system, you can easily add the Mongoose vehicle security system to your vehicle.
**Please note that the engine starter immobilizer may not be suitable for all vehicles and should be installed by a professional qualified technician for optimal performance and safety.**
SOS-SIREN ALERT
If your vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket security system that includes a siren, you can connect it to the VT904. When the VT904 detects that the siren has been triggered, it will send a SMS text warning directly to 1 or 2 mobile phone numbers that you have previously set up. The SMS text message will provide the details of the SOS alert and include a link to the exact location of your VT904.
If the supplied button is installed as a standard button, simply press it to trigger the SOS-SIREN alert, which will send an alert directly to 1 or 2 mobile phone numbers that you have already set up.
ENGINE STARTER IMMOBILIZER
With the VT904, you have the ability to immobilize your vehicle's engine starter motor using either the app or a text message command. This feature requires the installation of a relay to the engine's starter. Once you send the command, the relay will activate or deactivate, effectively immobilizing your vehicle.
Please note that the installation of the engine starter immobilizer should be performed by a professional qualified technician to ensure proper functionality and safety.
