Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit Sound Deadening (450Mm X 800Mm X 1.72Mm) 5 Sheet Pack
The Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit is the perfect solution for anyone looking to improve the sound quality in their vehicle. With a good bass system, you may experience rattling and distorted bass, but with the Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit, you can enjoy clear, crisp bass without any rattle. This kit is specifically designed for the trunk area of your vehicle, resulting in higher Sound Pressure Level (SPL), clearer bass, and overall better sound quality.
One of the key features of the Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit is its ease of application. It is the thinnest and lightest material available for adding sound pressure reinforcement to your car's body. By applying Dynamat to the trunk, you can eliminate any rattling or ballooning of the panels, resulting in higher SPL and tighter, louder bass. Additionally, road noise can enter your vehicle through the trunk, making your ride noisy and uncomfortable. The Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit effectively stops your trunk from vibrating and prevents road noise from entering, giving you a quiet and solid car.
The kit includes 5 sheets of Dynamat Xtreme, each measuring 18" x 32". These sheets are specifically designed for the trunk floor, side panels, and trunk lid, providing the ultimate bass and reducing road noise. The self-adhesive feature makes it easy to apply the Dynamat to the desired areas.
When applying the Dynamat, it is recommended to use a Dynamat roller tool to work the material into all the contours of the metal panel. Any air pockets that may have formed between the panel and the Dynamat can be eliminated by poking holes with a razor knife and using the roller tool to work the air out. This ensures lasting adhesion and maximum damping efficiency.
The Dynamat Xtreme is made of a black butyl-based core with a 4 mil aluminium constrain layer and a craft paper release liner. It is a patented, lightweight elastomeric butyl and aluminium constrained-layer vibration damper that easily conforms and fuses to sheet metal and other hard substrates. It is highly resistant to aging and can withstand temperature extremes between -65°F and +300°F (-54°C to +149°C).
Aside from vehicles, Dynamat can also be used in various applications such as ventilation ducts, relay cabinets, steel furniture, home appliances, computer equipment, and more. It is die-cut
