One of the standout features of our Lava™ Turbo Shield is the use of internal hems. This not only provides additional strength but also gives the shield a cleaner and more professional appearance. Unlike turbo heat shields with external hems, our shield won't fall apart when you remove it from your turbine housing.
We have also redesigned this turbo heat shield to ensure a tighter fit on the turbo housing. The larger openings for center housings discharge pipes make it compatible with the newest generation of high-performance turbochargers.
With a rugged outer layer made of our 25 percent stronger Lava Shield material, this turbo wrap offers superior durability compared to fiberglass shields. The Inferno Mat, silica contact layer can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 1800°F, providing exceptional heat resistance.
Our exclusive BioCool inner insulation sets this heat shield turbo wrap apart from OEM metal shields. It keeps the cold side temperature much cooler, ensuring optimal performance. Plus, the precision design eliminates the need for trimming or fitting, making installation a breeze.

Turbo Shield Installation Tips:
- Wrap around turbo, and use included stainless steel springs or Inconel wire on anchor hooks
- Use a pair of needle nose pliers to help stretch springs to hooks
